I'm Emily Muzzell Walker and my walk with the Lord began when I was 10 years old at a revival as I found myself trying so hard not to go up at the alter call, but I just couldn't be still so I went down front and that's when I gave my life to the Lord.

My passions are all about helping others see the love of God and all sinners saved by grace.  I love the opportunity to be outside and loving people and helping them know how much they are loved, because a lot of us needs to be reminded how incredibly perfect we are created by God.  I am also passionate about the Little Pantries of Henry County and R.E.S>T> Respite Ministry for friends diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer's.  And I'm passionate about my family and grandkids.

My gifts are a Spiritual Faith and mercy as I have a really trusting loyal faith where I don't have to know everything and I believe in the healing power of prayer and God's Word.

I feel the direction of the church is to love and continue to draw the circle wider and be on the journey together, always extending hospitality and to have a place where all people can feel welcome.

Through this Ignite the Fire for Christ day, I am believing for the fire to be rekindled and not just for the day but changes in us in a way that we are never the same again and I am so excited to be a part.

When asked why I do what I do, I can only respond with "I love the Lord, every breath I take and everything that I do, I surrender to Him."
